New Points of Reference
Artist in Residence Simmons & Simmons
In partnership with Frederick Bremer School
Simmons & Simmons has collaborated with artist Sarah Strang and Frederick Bremer School on an art project entitled New Points of Reference.
The project explores the theme of responsibility on a personal and collective level, and brings together the views of young people from Frederick Bremer School and staff at Simmons & Simmons.
Strang, who worked on the project onsite at the firm’s CityPoint headquarters in London, has created a dialogue in which responses were developed into permanent works that visualise how responsibility can create momentum for change.
Commenting on the project, writer and theologian Lucy Winkett, said: ‘‘The decision to host an artist in residence is an imaginative and innovative way of challenging the assumptions we all live with at work about personal responsibility, corporate social responsibility and how these questions can frame the current debate to ensure that our collective future is better than our past.’’
